Maintenance
AvailableWork orders & interventions
Follow maintenance from estimate to completion.
Reviewed 2026-10-14 · FSHangar App (Windows) 1.4.2
Start work
- Open the aircraft's component or defect view.
- Select the available inspection, repair or replacement action.
- Review the maintenance estimate.
- Confirm the intended intervention.
- Check that a work order was created for the correct aircraft and target.
Work in progress
A work order has an estimated completion time. The aircraft stays in maintenance until then. Check the displayed timing before attempting another action for the same problem.
Completion
Once its estimated completion time has passed, the work order is completed the next time FSHANGAR refreshes the aircraft: when you open the website or the app.
If you need the aircraft sooner, Flight Prep can offer to accelerate its maintenance, at a reputation cost shown before you confirm (see Reputation System V2).
Repair versus replace
Both use the maintenance estimate workflow, but they represent different action types. Read the estimate and inspect the resulting component state after completion.
If work remains open
Refresh the affected view, check the work-order details and see Maintenance not clearing.
