Airworthiness
Restricted rolloutReal-world airworthiness
EASA directives bring real-world requirements into the simulation.

The source policy
FSHANGAR's real-world airworthiness feature uses applicable EASA Airworthiness Directives as its source of airworthiness events for the Airbus/Fenix scope. FAA directives and standalone Airbus Service Bulletins are not independent sources in this scope.
No synthetic airworthiness events
No AD or SB is ever injected manually, randomly or synthetically. An Airbus SB cited by an EASA AD may be a reference supporting that directive; it is not a separate event source.
Not the Failure Engine
The Failure Engine's Manual and Random modes concern technical failures only. They never create airworthiness requirements. See Aircraft condition & failures.
Availability
Real-world airworthiness is currently enabled only for a restricted group of accounts. Most accounts do not see these requirements yet. Check the requirements actually shown for your aircraft.
Simulation scope
Applicability, timing and compliance are represented by a software model with defined limits. It is not an approved maintenance tracking system, operational airworthiness advice or a substitute for official aviation records.
See Applicability and Compliance and recurrence.
