Synaptic A220

Integration status

Synaptic A220 work is underway in the shared aircraft integration layer. The public FSHangar app (1.4.2) does not support the A220.

What testing established

• N1, N2 and EGT were validated in the telemetry audit.
• Several generic engine values, including running state, fuel flow, starter and oil readings, proved unreliable in that audit.
• Generic ATC identity was unstable, and Marketplace livery discovery had limitations.
• Four system-degradation candidates were tested with observable system effects and restoration to normal state.

Failures versus degradations

The tested degradation approach uses documented aircraft controls. It is distinct from native failure support: a tested degradation does not prove that the add-on's internal failure engine is accessible.

Before public availability

The release must define identity, flight tracking, FH/FC, maintenance, persistence, native failures and degradations independently. Check the release notes before adding an A220 to your fleet.
