Two sources of work

Scheduled maintenance	Unscheduled maintenance
Work triggered by an interval or due requirement.	Work prompted by a defect, failed component or technical event.

Choose the right aircraft

Review its condition, defects, due items and existing work before starting a new action. Starting another intervention is not necessarily the way to complete an existing one.

Inspect, repair and replace

Where offered, inspection helps investigate condition or defects. Repair and replacement are maintenance actions selected through the available estimate and work-order workflow. Their effect depends on the affected component and the product's maintenance model.

After work

Check the work-order status and the resulting aircraft record. A closed work order, improved component condition and airworthiness compliance are separate results that need to be verified in their respective views.
