Install the Windows app and keep it up to date.

Install

  1. Sign in to fshangar.app and select Download Windows app. The link downloads the installer (FSHangar-win-Setup.exe) of the latest public release.
  2. Run the installer and launch FSHangar.
  3. Connect the app to your account with a connection token before attempting a tracked flight. See Account & app connection.
  4. Start MSFS 2024 and load a supported aircraft to check the simulator connection.

Updates

The app checks for a new version each time it starts. When one is available it downloads it, shows the progress, installs it and restarts into the new version. If the update cannot be completed, the installed version starts normally. Finish your active flight before restarting the app.

The current public version is 1.4.2 (1 October 2026). See Release notes.

Requirements and compatibility

The app is built for MSFS 2024 through SimConnect. MSFS 2020 support, minimum Windows version and disk requirements are not documented.
