FSHANGAR cannot connect to MSFS

Check the simulator, the app and the account connection in order.

First checks

  1. Check that MSFS 2024 is running and has finished loading the aircraft.
  2. Check that the app shows MSFS 2024 / SimConnect as connected, and that it is connected to your account.
  3. Distinguish a simulator disconnection from a server disconnection.
  4. Make sure you run the current version (1.4.2 or later).
  5. Restart the app after completing any active flight workflow; if needed, restart MSFS.

An interrupted flight in version 1.4.1

In version 1.4.1, while a previous flight was waiting for a decision (Previous flight needs a decision), the app did not connect to MSFS, even after a restart. Version 1.4.2 connects to MSFS independently of that decision: update the app, then resolve the previous flight with Retry or Discard.

Report persistent failures

Include the app version, MSFS version, aircraft family, account connection status, the exact error text, whether restarting either application changes the result, and the logs (Open logs folder in the app's diagnostics).
