Hangar
AvailableFlight hours, cycles & calendar time
Three different clocks drive aircraft history and maintenance.

The counters
| Counter | Meaning | Example use |
|---|---|---|
| FH — flight hours | Accumulated flight time recorded by FSHANGAR. | A requirement due after a defined number of hours. |
| FC — flight cycles | Accumulated cycles recorded by FSHANGAR. | A requirement due after a defined number of cycles. |
| Calendar time | Elapsed real time against a date or interval. | An inspection due every six months. |
How a flight adds to them
- FH: the recorded block time of the flight, from the start of recording to the end of the flight (taxi included), with three decimals.
- FC: one cycle per completed flight with at least one touchdown. Bounces and touch-and-go landings in the same flight still count as one cycle.
- Counters change only through recorded flights. They cannot be edited by hand.
Which threshold comes first?
A scheduled task becomes due soon within 10 FH, 5 FC or 7 days of its limit, whichever comes first, and overdue once any limit is passed. If a requirement has several limits, remaining hours do not mean remaining calendar time.
After a flight
Check the saved flight and the updated aircraft counters. If the numbers appear wrong, compare the flight result with the aircraft total and report the flight.
